I’m on there as well and I”ll be sure to be your follower. 
I would first recommend looking up people on there with keywords that are your same interest, follow people because that will get them interested as to who is following them and they’ll get curious. As you follow people, retweet. This seems to encourage others to favorite your information and retweet as well. I have found this and yet I don’t have anything really “tweet worthy.” 
I would say it’s about getting a following. Maybe someone else that tweets that can get you out there to get on your profile, see who you’re all about, read blogs, etc.

Retweeting is relaying someone else’s message and if u see RT, that’s the same thing …. Its a circle-square shape with arrows…. Make sense? You can either quote to add your own message or just retweet
